Completing the Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment is a really simple task that will only take you 6 minutes. You do not need to study for the assessment, as it is not a theoretical questionnaire. It is just a practical assessment with two easy to understand questions.
The following is an example of PI Behavioral Assessment and the two phases that comprise it:
Select the adjectives with which you think your peers would define you
In this first part of the questionnaire, you are asked to put yourself in the shoes of your teammates and members of your company. He will be presented with a list of 86 adjectives, from which he will have to select those that, in his opinion, his colleagues would use to define him.
For example, if I think my peers perceive me as "organized" I will check this option even if I don't think I stand out for my organization.
Similarly, if I perceive myself as "sociable", but I believe that my peers see me as an introvert, I will NOT select the "sociable" option.
Here's a tip: think back to your last conversations with colleagues and work meetings and find those values that your team members recognize you for.
Select the adjectives that best define you
In the second and last phase of this questionnaire, the user will be presented with the same list of adjectives as in the previous phase, but this time he/she will have to mark those that, in his/her opinion, define him/her personally.
It's time for individual introspection, forgetting how others perceive you and focusing only on how you see yourself. Ask yourself questions such as: who am I, how do I behave in my daily life, or how do I deal with work?
As in the previous phase, it is necessary to be honest for the results to be conclusive. Trying to guess what kind of profile the company organizing the assessment is looking for will only lead to inaccurate conclusions that will not reflect your professional profile.
Be patient and take your time to think while completing this assessment, because although most people complete it in 6 minutes, there is no time limit for the PI Behavioral Assessment.
